Skynet’s network is designed with the most advanced voice over IP soft switch technology. We use Metaswitch as our transport for all voice over IP calls. This allows us to control the call through the Internet all the way to our customer’s so they don’t have jitter, echo, dropped calls, poor call quality, etc...
All of our Network equipment resides in 3 data centers with 10Gb to 40Gb Fiber rings for Internet and connection between our data centers. This gives our customer’s full triple play redundancy with 1,000,000 channels of voice as their main service. If this ever goes down it fails over to a second 1,000,000 then it will go to a third and forth 1,000,000 channels if every necessary. When a switch fails on our Network it alerts us there is a problem and needs to be fixed. This allows us to offer the best service possible with backup.
